Run out to Bellingham
We had anice mix of kit and classic with three Robin Hoods and three classics, a Lotus Elan+2, Alfa Spyder and a TVR. We set off from the Holiday Inn at 10am and had a steady meander through Ponteland to Heddon, Chollerford , Walk and on to Bellingham a really nice route with not too muck traffic. We parked up at the Railway Carriage Cafe were we enjoyed a variety of teas coffees and bacon sandwiches, acording to Micheal speaking as an expert they are the best bacon aandwiches he has had since the last time he was at the cafe!. After the usual round of photos, Arthur led led us off on a cunning route to Otterburn-After we all did a u-turn we set off in the right direction, we really do have some great roads in Northumberland. After Otterburn we split into two groups Lizz, Margaret and John and Bryan went down the A696 and Arthur, Denise and Micheal and Alan went through Elsdon, Rothbury then down past Morpeth to home. Really enjoyable day, hope we have many more like it.
