New car in my "garage"

The car isone of the earliest 7based kit  cars from Robin Hooh Engineering. They were built as abox frame  chassis and stainless panels fitted at the factory. My car is a bit of a hybrid as it has the Dolomite front suspension (wishbones and Coil spring dampers) and the Dolomite rear axle (5linked live axle and coil spring dampers)  but has the TR7 5 speed gearbox and a  Dolomite Sprint engine with twin 40 DHLA Dellorto's.

The car had a fuel problem when I  bought it but I  have made a start at fixing it. I have drained the fuel tank and cleaned it, replaced  the old plastic braided main fuel pipe with PVC covered copper pipe properly fastened to the tunnel and new rubber pipes. A new fuel pump is going to be fitted in the rear and new filters. The carbs have been cleaned out and all the jets blown out. I have new wiring to run in for the new pump then it will be ready to test,

Future plans are to tidy the wiring, change to 15inch wheele and decent tyres then put it on the road in the spring, From there a choice will have to made on which one to keep.
