2022 Blyth Classic Car and Bike Show

We were blessed with great weather for the 2022 Blyth Classic Car and Bike Show with sunshine all day long.

Those showing their cars arrived early at the Mermaid Car Park at Blyth seafront and joined together before entering the show so that we would be parked together.  Alan brought his Robin Hood (as did John & Margaret and Mike & Denise); Keith brought his Lotus; Liz brought her MGF while Arthur brought the Lotus; John & Dorothy came in their Hawk and Pearson completed our display with his Fiarano.  We were happy to make use of the vouchers for a free bacon (or sausage) roll and cup of tea or coffee before taking up our places and displaying the club banner ready for the day's show.  Eventually we were joined by about 130 others to create another successful show at Blyth.

Later in the day Brian & Judy B visited in the afternoon without their kit car as did Brian P.   

As usual the show was well attended by the public and our cars genreated a lot of interest and a few compliments.  Unusually, it was after 16.00 before we all left for home: normally we're frozen solid or soaking wet by mid-afternoon and we're itching to get away but this year the sunshine gave us no incentive to rush off.
