Formula 1 has announced that the Spanish Grand Prix will be held in Madrid from 2026 to 2035 following an agreement with IFEMA MADRID to bring an all-new circuit to the Spanish capital, incorporating both street and non-street sections.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has been the race's home since 1991, but it became increasingly apparent during 2023 that Madrid looked set to take over the hosting of the Spanish GP.However, Barcelona could yet secure a place for a second race in Spain.
