Oscar Piastri is feeling “a lot of confidence” that he can perform well at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix off the back of his strong drive in Qatar, with the Australian admitting that a statistic from previous three-way title fights is giving him the “tiniest comfort” about his own championship bid.

Arvid Lindblad was all smiles when he arrived at the Yas Marina Circuit on Thursday, shortly after news of his promotion to the Formula 1 grid for next season.

Max Verstappen has insisted that he is feeling “very relaxed” ahead of the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with the Dutchman admitting that he is content with how he and Red Bull have been “turning things around from difficult times” during the second half of the season.
